Book Club Brunch – Chapter 37

Book Club Brunch – Chapter 37

Hi there,

I literally do not know what to do with this week. The Mid-Atlantic is having our last bout of “winter” this weekend. Why does it do this to me? Mid-week it was a sunny 68°F and today we can’t even hit 40? Genuinely rude.

Fortunately, it means lots of indoor time. That means hunkering down with a giant tub of coffee (yes, I said tub), an extra cozy sweatshirt, and lighting a cozy candle before I pick up our current book club read.

How are y’all enjoying Middlesex so far? This one is a re-read for me, and it feels a little different the second time around. Sometimes I feel like books just sit completely different when the cultural and political climate feels different. Have you had that experience with another book?

Peace,

Whitney
