Pursuit of the perfect book – food pairing has been a time honored tradition among book clubs.

Every book club leader knows – if you’re hoping to throw the most festive and fun book club gathering, thou shalt create some type of pairing! Be it the perfect chocolate pie to accompany The Help, or the perfect cocktail to get your Gatsby discussion buzzing, food and book discussions pair perfectly.

That’s why we are very pleased to announce a new partnership with Sara Quiroz of Snacks in the Stacks!

Twice a month Snacks in the Stacks delivers a newsletter featuring a wonderful combination of bookish musings, fantastic food pairings, and some wonderful recipies curated by Sara Quiroz. Sara is a Culinary Librarian at The International Culinary Center. You can follow Sara on Twitter and on Instagram.

Every month Sara will be finding or creating a fantastic food or drink pairing to fit with our monthly book club pick!

Each month, after we’ve announced our book club selection, you’ll get an email with a recipe to try! You can share your creations using #SnackWithIBC!

All you have to do to be sure you’re getting Sara’s wonderful pairings is to sign-up to read along with book club! Just click the image below, or use this handy link.
